Software Installation

Check for patch 112233-12 on Solaris 9 (slow boot issue) ... better install the recommended patch cluster.

This procedure install the Qlogic HBA driver, RDAC, QFS and registers the HBA WWN's in the PP&B database and add QFS license.

 # cd /home/admin/solaris/san
 # pkgadd -d qlogic/qla2300.sparc_pkg
 # pkgadd -d qlogic/scli_10614-24SPARC_Sol.pkg
 # pkgadd -d . RDAC
 # reboot -- -r
 # cd /home/admin/solaris/san
 # pkgadd -d qfs SUNWqfsr SUNWqfsu
 # /home/admin/bin/hbainvent
 # /home/admin/bin/setqfslicense
 # reboot -- -r
